It has an alder body, beautifully finished in Shorline Gold Metallic with paint over paint vintage white. The maple neck is a C shaped P neck, so it is a bit bulky as you would expect for a P neck. Playing on this bass is comfortable and gives that “feels right” impression I mentioned above. The rosewood fretboard combined to the Lollar pickups and the passive electronics give that classic fat, deep, nice and sweet original sound with the best definition. Simple but efficient: you’re covered in many styles. Conclusion: A super cool version of a PJ bass with custom features. On top of the “IT FEELS RIGHT” qualification which is constant across all Nash Guitars range, the additional words I could say about that PB/J57 are: Damn Cool!
